DELTA, Ohio (WTVG) – The Fulton County Health Department shared results from last week’s blood testing clinic.
Health leaders said 140 tests were done and most people showed little or no lead in their blood.
Fewer than seven percent of results showed elevated levels.
The testing was done as a precaution after air testing late last year showed lead levels above acceptable standards from dust kicked up during the demolition of the Bunting Bearings property.
According to the health department, most people who were tested received their results by email Wednesday afternoon. People who requested results by mail should allow five to seven days for delivery.
