Dublin lads decide to have Palestine protest outside Belfast unknowingly going into loyalist area with Irish flag

  1. Lads not well versed in the Northern Irish political situation, although they were probably too busy planning their virtue signalling tour to spend 5 minutes on Wikipedia.

  2. I wasn’t the biggest on history in school. But if i remember correctly it was churchill defined the Israeli borders.

Is that why the unionists support Israel but ROI supports Palestine?

  3. Welcome to multicultural Ireland where there’s no need to learn the history of the country that gave you or your parents refuge.

  4. Only in Belfast or Northern Ireland can someone produce an iserali flag at the drop of the hat like that.

  5. If only they knew about the nation that give their family refuge.

“Back on Irish soil” what a load of shite I hate how southerners go on arrogantly toward us but I can tell these people are just clueless about Ireland in general

  6. The absolute irony here. I’m as big a Palestine and a united Ireland supporter as any but going to a place on your own island to champion a cause from a foreign soil when you don’t even understand the geo political situation 2 hours away from your home is utter stupidity.

Reminds me of all the Irish twitter gobshites banging on about American politics as if they live there with their hot takes, when they cant tell you the first thing about Irish politics or history.

  7. Absolute Muppets, they knew exactly what reaction they would get doing that. They were counting on it to make this shite video.

  8. I’m sorry, but you got out very easy. Irish natives don’t get the same warnings you got from the police.

I get Palestine is a technically warzone, but that was very stupid what those guys did, if they where actually Irish fenian there wouldn’t have been police there in time to save them and we would have been seeing a different story on the news.

  9. What was the point? Who in Ireland doesn’t know that Unionists don’t like people flying the Irish and Palestinian flags in their neighbourhoods?

What other pearls of wisdom will they deliver next? What other great insights? People in Kilkenny like hurling. It sometimes rains in Galway. Country people of a certain age have fond memories of Copper Face Jacks.

  10. Lol – Not only do we use OUR religions (catholic/protestant) to foster hatred between Irish people, we now use other countries religious/political (islam/judaism – Palastinian/Israeli) differences to create hatred.

Religion eh? What is it good for? Nothing.

  11. I’m all for peacefully protesting things but when you take the train up to Belfast to walk through these areas with the intention of riling people up you’re just an idiot who’s not achieving anything.

  12. Doesn’t matter if they had an Irish flag, the Palestinian one is enough to make them a target for the loyalists.
