PORTLAND (WGME) – With the threat of climate change growing, Maine is getting millions of dollars for it’s working waterfronts.

Congressman Jared Golden says he helped secure more than $7.5 million to go toward waterfronts and other community projects in Maine.

The spending package will most notably go toward waterfronts throughout Maine’s Penobscot Bay Region, but will also include other areas in Maine’s second district.
