Queensland police have charged a fourth man in relation to the torture and murder of Brisbane father Andrew Burow.
Mr Burow, a 56-year-old cybersecurity manager, was reported missing on August 20 last year, four days after he was last seen at his Brisbane unit.
In September, human remains discovered in a shallow grave more than 200 kilometres west of Brisbane were confirmed to be those of Mr Burow.
Three men — a 38-year-old from Sippy Downs, a 26-year-old from North Lakes and a 57-year-old from Buderim — faced court in October charged with murder, kidnapping, torture, extortion and misconduct with a corpse.Â

On Friday, investigators charged a 44-year-old Lake Macdonald man with one count each of torture, deprivation of liberty and extortion.
Police have previously alleged the attack on Mr Burow was targeted and that the 26-year-old North Lakes man was known to him.Â
Mr Burows’ disappearance launched what police said was a “complex investigation” that eventually involved eight crime scenes across south-east Queensland.
Officers allegedly found a phone, zip ties, alcohol wipes and the names and addresses of Mr Burow’s parents on a piece of paper at a property in Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast.
Police have alleged Andrew Burow was taken from his Kelvin Grove home in August last year.
It is alleged that photographic evidence of Mr Burow, “severely beaten”, was also found.
The mysterious disappearance of Andrew Burow
Police have alleged Mr Burow was taken via car from Kelvin Grove in Brisbane’s inner north to multiple locations across the south-east over a four-day period between August 21 and August 25.Â
It is also alleged he was murdered and his remains left beside a road at Maidenwell, in the South Burnett region, around August 26.
The 44-year-old Lake Macdonald man will appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on February 5.
Police have urged anyone with relevant information that they have not yet reported to contact investigators.
