On the night of January 24, the Russian army intensified its shelling of Kharkiv: in addition to attacks by 25 Shahed drones, a rocket strike was carried out on the city. It is preliminarily known that the rocket hit a civilian enterprise. This information was released by the regional prosecutor’s office.

According to city authorities, from 00:09 to 02:32 on January 24 Kharkiv recorded at least 25 explosions. The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, said that Russia attacked the Industrial and Nemyshliansky districts of the city using about 25 Shahed drones.
As a result of the attack, people were injured: nineteen received wounds and stress-related injuries, including a 12-year-old boy, a 25-year-old pregnant woman, and a 74-year-old pensioner.
As a result of the night attack, more than a thousand windows were shattered. According to Oleh Sinehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, five multi-story buildings and 21 private houses were damaged; in one of them, more than 40 people were evacuated.
In their actions there are signs of criminal offenses under Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Threats or violence against a law enforcement officer” and Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Deliberate destruction or damage to property.” The relevant reports have been sent to the National Police
