“Batsino” (African boxthorn). A variety that tastes like tomatoes. My father always told me that these are poisonous but i ate two of them and nothing happened but it is possible that the affect becomes more potent with the number of Batsino you eat. At first look i thought it was Gonnara (myrrh) but it is not Gonnara. İt is definetly Batsino. İ advise you not to eat it and the stem of Batsino has very big thorns. Batsino was the name given to African boxthorn in Ayia Marina shillura. İ wonder what this was called in other villages.
