Cruz (6-0, 3 KOs) locked in his mandatory position with a one-sided stoppage victory over Hironori Mishiro in June. The 2020 Olympic gold medalist is considered to be one of the best amateurs of recent times and now looks to win his first world title.

Coe, who avenged his lone defeat by stopping Manuel Gallegos this past May in Mexico, tipped the scales more than seven pounds over the 175-pound limit at Friday’s official weigh-in. Hart is a two-time title challenger at super middleweight.

Very slow start to this one. Neither man has really landed anything in the first two minutes. Both are pawing out jabs. Sharp jab connects for Madrimov and now a nice left hook breaks the guard.

Omari Jones could be going the distance for the first time in his life.
Baxter is just three minutes away from seeing out six tough rounds. Jones hasn’t come out brazen in the final round. He is content with boxing on the back foot and landing power shots when he can. Double left hook goes Jones. 60 seconds left. Jones is looking at the clock — I think he’ll be happy to win a decision.
10-9 Jones, 60-53 Jones

Into the second half of this fight, and I’m not sure anyone was expecting to get here after the first round. Quick combination on the inside from Jones. Baxter is still game and pushing Jones back but Jones is in control. The jab continues to be lethal for Jones. Left hooks galore for Jones, who lands that shot on the side of Baxter’s head every chance he gets. Jones backs Baxter up with a combination. Baxter seems comfortable with the power now, though.
10-9 Jones, 40-35 Jones

Jones is landing sharp power punches up close on Baxter. HARD right hand hurts Baxter. Check left hook x2 — Baxter takes it, but how much more of these can he take? Chopping right hand from Jones has Baxter wobbling again.
10-9 Jones, 30-26 Jones

Three minutes to go. Can Moses force a stoppage?
A pair of lefts connect to begin the sixth. Medina is still pushing forward, looking for the one punch from nowhere that can turn this fight around. More left hands are connecting. And another hurts Medina. Moses is boxing beautifully now, landing left hands and sharp combinations at piece but he won’t get the finish.
