So the consensus is to avoid it? I gave up after three episodes. I’m not some Marvel dork who can’t go a few seconds without explosions and epic quips. But it feels like they thought the thing people loved most about Normal People was how sedate it was. I’ve really enjoyed the show so far. Was going to comment *Well you don’t have to watch it* only to read deep in the comments that OP hasn’t seen any Sally Rooney adaptations. Aye it’s garbage.
