At the end of the day, everybody turning vegan is never going to happen. But if we choose to have certain days without meat, as a society, that can make a huge difference.
Why is this school forcing vegan food on Pupils?
Meat will cost so much soon people will be having meat free months.
I don’t tend to buy any meat at full price and haven’t for about 3 years. I just can’t afford it at full price.
Hmm. Hope someone is keeping an eye out for vitamin deficiencies etc. Vegan diet is only really viable with supplements especially for kids who’s bodies aren’t fully matured.
Great idea though. Hope to see more of this.
I give it a month before they go back to proper meals, this sort of thing always has a “wow that’s different”, so they try it and after a while find it’s not as good as they thought.
Before anyone bleats this is exactly what happened to a vegan cafe in Norwich, did well for a week or 2 and then people moved on to what they know, and the cafe went bust within 6 months.
I’d prefer Theo Paphitus’ Meatless Fajitas.
More of this please.
Quicker to cook, healthier, less cruel, better for the planet.
Sounds like their canteen was on its knees before the change, so if this saves it, top marks.
I do enjoy all of the psychopaths carrying on like this is being forced on children by the unseen woke mafia rather than kids actually wanting it themselves.
I personally think kids will eat whatevers presented to them as long as it looks, smells and tastes good. I know that a fair number of my nephews old classmates would opt for either a vegetarian or vegan option if it was presented – unless it was broccoli and cheese!
I’m hungry now. I don’t honestly know which argument triggered it.
