Robbery rates across European countries. Your thoughts?

  1. Idk how much I believe our figures since the CSO still only publishes them with a great big asterisk attached, though it has improved in the time since they outright refused to publish them for about two years.

  2. I wonder is it “better” to be a robber where rates are high or low. Less chance of being caught where they are high, but people are probably more security conscious.

    Albania has a rate of 3? Something tells me Albanians don’t like dealing with cops.

  3. I’ve been in Brussels for like 40 minutes and I saw attempted robbery right before my eyes. Guess it’s common in Belgium. I do not know why though

  4. Irelands is probably 3 to 4 times whats here as nobody reports petty crime in Dublin and half the times the guards dont even make a report
