TORONTO — HX Expeditions has introduced a new Greenland Promise covering all 2026 sailings that include Greenland, reaffirming that travel to the destination continues to operate as normal and that its expedition operations remain fully unaffected.

The announcement follows renewed international attention on Greenland after recent threats made by U.S. President Donald Trump to acquire the Danish territory. While his remarks have generated increased media coverage and questions from travellers, HX says there has been no material impact on its Greenland program to date.

According to HX, Spring and Summer 2026 voyages are proceeding as planned. As a proactive measure to support travel advisors and guests, the company has rolled out the HX Greenland Promise for all 2026 itineraries featuring Greenland. Under the policy, in the highly unlikely event that HX is required to cancel a Greenland sailing, or if a guest’s own government issues advice against travel, guests will have the option to change their booking to another HX voyage and receive an additional 20% Future Cruise Credit applicable to the new sailing or any other HX voyage, or opt for a full refund.
