Four children who disappeared from Utah with their mother in November 2025 have been located in Croatia, according to family members.

West Jordan police said that Elleshia Seymour disappeared with her 11-year-old, 8-year-old, 7-year-old and 3-year-old children following an extended visit with them over the Thanksgiving holiday, Us Weekly previously reported.

Elleshia, 35, and the young children were last seen on surveillance video at Salt Lake City International Airport as they boarded a plane heading to Europe.

The children’s loved ones did not know their location for weeks. However, family members revealed in an update on their GoFundMe page that they have since been found in Croatia.

“The kids are trapped in Croatia in a state-run orphanage. We are in the country, trying to get the kids out of the custody of the local government,” the update shared by Kendall Seymour — father to three of the four children — on Sunday, January 25, read.

The update did not share how the children were found, how they ended up at the orphanage or why they are there. Additionally, Elleshia’s location was not mentioned in the update.

The family is currently trying to raise more money to hire lawyers and translators so that they can regain custody of the children from the Croatian government, according to the GoFundMe page.

Kendall also shared in the post that there is a “fifth American child in this children’s home” where his kids were found. “My children were traveling with him and his mother. The fifth child’s situation is even more difficult than my own kids’ status,” he wrote on the GoFundMe page. “We would like to help him as much as possible – his situation is going to need more legal help and strategy than ours.”

The father previously spoke to East Idaho News’ Courtroom Insider about the search. At the time, Kendall shared that he learned his children were missing when he received a phone call from the babysitter.

“She was in a panic and just said, you know, ‘Your — Kenny, I think your kids are missing,’” he said during the Sunday, January 4, interview. “And at first, I thought she was just being, you know, a little paranoid, but the more she talked the more I was like, ‘This is, this is serious.’”

After he got the call, he contacted West Jordan police and his ex-wife’s family members and friends in an attempt to track her and the kids down.

When Elleshia left her home, she reportedly left two notes behind that included a “delusional message from God” in which she said he promised she would be “in Italy by Christmas.” The second note was a to-do list that involved discarding her phone and buying a prepaid burner phone, per the GoFundMe page.

“When we were married, there was nothing like this,” Kendall said of his ex’s behavior. “We both grew up LDS, or Mormon,
but (there were) none of these beliefs about end times or Salt Lake specifically being destroyed.”

An Endangered Missing Advisory was issued for the children on December 10, 2025, and Elleshia has since been charged with four counts of felony custodial interference, according to EastIdahoNews.com.

The West Jordan Police Department is working with the FBI to investigate Elleshia and the kids’ disappearance.
