  1. Well, to be fair, we did have Madison over here … but apparently he just did it as a joke and without the date-rape-drugs.

  2. So hard to keep track of all the Tory MPs with sexual assault convictions, charges, or allegations hanging over them these days.

Every time a new one comes up you have to check –

    • Is it the one recently [arrested for rape and assault](https://news.sky.com/story/conservative-mp-arrested-over-rape-and-sexual-assault-allegations-spanning-seven-year-period-12615430) over a seven year span?
    • Is it the one [convicted of assaulting a minor](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-61113265), who allegedly [plied underage boys](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10721535/Paedophile-ex-Tory-MP-Imran-Ahmad-Khan-offered-teenage-boy-cocaine-prostitutes.html) with prostitutes and cocaine?
    • Is is the one suspended over [alleged sexual assault and cocaine use](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/apr/02/tories-suspend-david-warburton-amid-claims-over-sexual-harassment-and-drug-use)?
    • Is it the one now [back in the Commons](https://www.businessinsider.com/conservative-party-research-group-still-working-disgraced-mp-rob-roberts-2021-8) after a six week suspension for sexual harrassment?
    • Perhaps the ex-minister found by a judge to have [raped his wife](https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/dec/10/former-conservative-mp-andrew-griffiths-raped-wife-family-court-finds) while she slept?
    • Maybe the [“I’m a naughty Tory”](https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/jul/30/ex-mp-charlie-elphicke-convicted-of-sexual-assault) one convicted of three counts of sexual assault against two women?

Well, probably none of the above, according to [this article](https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/mps-arrest-rape-allegations-revived-155935909.html):

    > Rumours have been floating around about one current minister for several months. Three sources have independently told Insider he is believed to have used a date-rape drug on a fellow MP.

The article (from three days ago) raises the identity of Tory MP recently arrested on rape charges – not thought to be a current minister:

    > Another MP’s name was suggested as a possible match, a man who was alleged to have raped a staffer. But one source told Insider the victim there “was not going to the police apparently,” seeming to rule the name out.

So even with this latest case, the well has not yet run dry, it seems.

[Previous barely resolved allegations](https://thetab.com/uk/2019/10/03/tory-activist-kills-herself-after-tweeting-allegations-of-sexual-harassment-from-party-members-127549) are consistent with the culture of abuse evidenced above.

  3. I’m genuinely impressed at the levels of debauchery that tory mps have descended to if there’s homosexual group-sex drug-rape with other mps going on that’s pretty impressive levels of not-giving-a-fuck. Who is it, one of the ones that’s been arrested or a new one?

  4. There should, surely, be a legal eagle that can find a way to reverse the protection an elected representative receives when it is in the public interest that their name is known, or the details of the case are sought or needed to be known in the public interest. Challenge?

  5. What the fuck is going on? Is every single person with any amount of power in this world absolutely disgusting?

  6. Jesus this is a daily thing now where a Conservative mp is doing something outrageous.

Labour should be cleaning up right now, that’s how useless labour is.

  7. We’ll never know who it is, and it doesn’t look like the police are investigating, so this is just more evidence of problems with MPs behaviour that nothing can be done about.

  8. You might almost think there were deliberate reasons for them selecting MP candidates with [little peccadilloes](https://youtu.be/m-t-iRQOSeQ?t=1426), like for example, scandal involving small boys.

If there’s one thing the Tories are good at, it’s keeping their MPs voting consistently.
