I only saw the one my cousin had and the clown gave me fucking nightmares to no end
What a show!
I can still hear her saying “little dab of glue”.
Its currently in my kids room. I’ve never made anything from it with them though. Bad mom
I’ve yet to see anyone using pipe cleaners to actually clean a pipe.
Would love to lock Mary Fitzgerald and Maguiver into a room and throw some toilet roll inserts and paper clips at their feet. End the argument once and for all.
I think I remember this book. Is there a kid on the back cover with the largest forehead in existence? I remember loving the book but never making anything from it.
This, Blue Peter and Art Attack must’ve ruined so many kitchen tables..
All I see is “how do you do glue”
I was on this around 1993-94; showing how to make fridge magnets, ornaments, jewellery etc using FIMO modelling clay. There were two other kids also, the three of us had been part of the NGI ‘Young Person’s / Children’s Art’ ? Exhibition [approx 13-14k extries & they picked 80 to hang in the National Gallery for a week or two] and Mary Fitzgerald was there walking around talking to various kids. Got a call from RTE about coming on the show shortly after.
Thanks op for bring back a memory.
The theme music just popped into my head when I say the doll drawing thing at the bottom……I swear I can’t remember what I had for breakfast, but this nonsense is embedded somewhere in my head
