we are so screwed my first thought was “it’s not that bad” upon remembering when we had like 40% once.
Oh no.
I wonder why youth unemployement in Lithuania is higher than Estonia’s and Latvia’s?
Pretendi la piena disoccupazione
Did we really manage to cut youth unemployment in half?
> Sweden – 26.5%
Jesus… what the fuck happened?
So we destroyed Greece and we don’t even recognize Kosovo so this is a win in my book
I thought we had it bad here.
Age range? And is education considered in these statistics?
Could it in Switzerland be that low partly because of the apprenticeships?
Moldova and Cyprus looks better than I expected.
Suck it Netherlands

Switzerland youth goes workk brrrrr
We don’t recognize Kosovo so we first 😎
HOL’ UP! Why Greece isn’t in the first place??? This is our rightful spot.
Also, a very very warm welcome to our newest member, Sweden, for joining the south countries club!!!

We are not last at something. I REPEAT WE ARE NOT LAST AT SOMETHING
Fun fact that Spain doesn’t recognize Kosovo so now we can be the top of youth unemployment 😎… /s
Spain doesn’t recognize Kosovo, so Spain #1 🤩🇪🇦🇪🇦
Wtf Kosovo? Thats our spot
Swedens number is really misleading because how we count here. So in these statistics above, they count everyone who studies (even full-time students) but is looking for extra jobs.
So, the real numbers 2020 was 6.5% but when we count the students it was 24.0% 2020.
> **Only half of the young people are in the labor force**
> Almost all Swedish young people study in upper secondary school and usually do not look for a job during that period. In addition, many then go directly on to studies at universities and colleges instead of starting to look for work. This is the main reason why only about half of all 15-24-year-olds belong to the labor force.
> **Job-seeking students are included.**
> SCB (Central Bureau of Statistics) examines youth unemployment in the Labor Force Surveys (LFS/AKU). If a person who is unemployed applies for a job in connection with the week we ask about, the person is counted as unemployed in the LFS statistics. It does not matter if it is a permanent or a temporary job. Many young people who are full-time students are looking for temporary jobs and are therefore considered unemployed.
> *Today, we are increasingly talking about another group among people aged 15-24: the young people who neither work nor study, and thus are outside both the education system and the labor market. In 2020, this group was 6.5 percent of all young people aged 15-24.*
