FFFGG need fucking out corruption is ingrained in them.
Hopefully will be 40+ by the time the next GE comes
I’m guessing every movement in that list is within the margin of error
As more and more people on percieved good wages cannot find places to rent and are completly priced out of buying the more anger will grow.
There is a massive trait of greed running wild in Irish society today. Its truely disgusting.
500euro a night hotels
No change from a tenner for 2 pints
Highest insurance in europe
Highest mortgage rates
Service charges for nearly everything
Whinging hospitality sector
Landlords charging extortionate rents
State land being handed to private interests for rent to buy
The list goes on and on of pure greed.
Sharon Curley is also up the pole. So ye know…
SF need over 40% I would guess to form any type of stable government. If they are relying too heavily on the likes of PBP and a wide range of independents with slim margins then it will likely fall at the first hurdle.
So what do they need to be the majority? 40%? What’s to stop FFFG blocking a coalition with SF like they did last time?
I wouldn’t worry too much yet. A lot can happen in nearly 3 years.
How would they run the country?
It would be a disaster.
Mid-term.polling is kinda irrelevant. Govt has 3 years to run and they almost always do here. Whatever your feelings one way or another, lots will change in the coming 3 years that could make these numbers very different.
Pity there isn’t an election tomorrow,. FFG look to be borrowing like they won’t be in power after the current term. Meaning SF will have a very difficult presidency.
What’s the worst that could happen?
Centrist pearl clutching incoming…..”What boUt Da IrA?” “They have nO experience WiV gOvERnment” “iF Sf Win EcoNoMY Ends”
Where I live people vote based on their grandparents opinions on Collins and Dev. Yeah
Sad day when Ireland has succumbed to populism that’s been spreading throughout the world the last 5 or 6 years.
Not surprising. FF/FG essentially turned their back to anyone who became of working age after 2008.
The ladder was pulled up and never brought back down so the non FF/FG demographic is only growing. They dont have new voters coming in and their previous core voter is slowly literally dying of old age.
There is a view amongst some in office, that you will need SF to be power before the electorate will realise that SF are overpromising charlatans like the other politicians.
