The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning parents and caregivers not to serve a specific batch of biscuits to children after the potential presence of soft plastic and paper pieces was identified in the product.
The recall, initiated Tuesday by Nestle Canada, affects Gerber arrowroot biscuits in 155-gram packages with the following batch codes and best-before dates:
5231565504 BB 2026 Nov. 185232565504 BB 2026 Nov. 195233565504 BB 2026 Nov. 20
The affected products have a Universal Product Code of 055000403146 and are sold nationally both online and in retail shops.
“Do not consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute recalled products,” the food recall said.
No injuries or illnesses related to this recall have been reported so far, and the CFIA says the recall was triggered by the company.
