New aerial video footage released by police shows the takedown of four suspects linked to 20 residential break-and-enters across York Region.

The video was taken by the York Regional Police Air Support. It shows the suspects at a home next to a vehicle in the area of Chiltern Hill in Richmond Hill on Friday.

With the assistance of York Regional Police Air Support, investigators said the suspects were observed exiting a residence through a second-story window.

“People just jumped out of the second floor window and they are running back to the car now,” one officer is heard saying on the video. “That car is mobile.”

The video later shows the suspect vehicle driving down a road and eventually surrounded by police officers who take down the suspects.

Approximately $50,000 worth of stolen property was recovered from inside the vehicle, police said.

“Everyone is in custody and everyone is safe,” an officer is heard saying following the arrest of the suspects.

Police said the investigation began in October 2025 after officers responded to a break-and-enter in Vaughan. Police said four suspects, operating a white Toyota RAV4 sport, utility vehicle were identified.

As the investigation continued, police said the same vehicle and suspects were identified in numerous other residential break-and-enters across the cities of Markham, Vaughan and Richmond Hill.

In a post on social media, police referred to the suspects as a “prolific break-and-enter crew.”

A search warrant was subsequently executed at a residence associated with the suspects in Richmond Hill. Officers seized additional offence-related property valued at $150,000.

Police have charged 39-year-old Zurab Gogua of Vaughan, 33-year-old Muiedin Ziizadinov of Toronto, 34-year-old Irakli Khitarovi of Richmond Hill and 36-year-old Gia Tchavtchavadze, of no fixed address.

Several charges have been laid against them, including 20 counts of break-and-enter with intent, 16 counts of possession of property obtained by crime, participating in criminal organization and possession of break-in instrument.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and investigators anticipate laying additional charges.
