Boris Johnson to sacrifice top official over Partygate to save himself

  1. Has Johnson followed Tory tradition and offered Case a seat in the HoL to buy his silence?

    >The prime minister was under pressure on Saturday to explain a recent meeting he held with Gray. It has led to claims that No 10 had tried to interfere and water down her findings.

He offer Gray the same deal?

still curious as to why the police chose to only investigate [two of the six parties](https://np.reddit.com/r/unitedkingdom/comments/utcf0g/partygate_police_probed_just_two_of_the_six/) Johnson attended.

  2. Boris possibly going to fuck over yet another person all so he can remain “King of the UK”, I wish this was surprising and the vast majority for the Tory loving media will proclaim he’s doing the best for the country.

This country is a fucking joke being run by liars and BS artists all propped up by the propaganda from the majority of the media which is mainly right wing and owned by very few billionaires and mates of Boris (billionaire son of “ex” KGB agent” who happens to be Boris’s drinking / party mate)

  3. That list of enemies grows bigger n bigger, got to catch up with him one day and I hope I get to see it.

  4. I don’t think sacking Case really helps Johnson’s image. The more people resign, the more obvious it becomes that Johnson is not doing the decent thing by failing to resign. The Prime Minister cannot pass the buck for things that happened in 10 Downing Street.

Considering the number of civil servants who have gotten fines, Case should be sacked along with Johnson. He hosted one of the parties in his own office. I’d like to know how many of the fines were related to that party.

December 17th 2020 was right before they had to invent a whole new tier for how bad infection rates got. Not to mention Case has had well over a year to come clean about it and apologise.

  5. Of course he will.

A government should be able to say “do as I say, AND as I do”. Not “do as I say, not as I do”..

Johnson now demands we hold ourselves to a higher standard than we hold him. Were you partying during lockdown? That’ll be thousands. A bit late to a meeting at the Job Centre? That’ll be your benefits stopped for three months.

But he walks away with a paltry £50 fine. Even the rest of his party are livid that this is “somehow” all he got. And when pressed, the reply from the government is “oh, people aren’t interested in all that any more, move on, there’s a war on you know”.

The UK now has a PM who has lied to the Queen, to Parliament, to the people in general (hey, how’s the Northern Powerhouse going?) and has now officially broken the law, WHILE PM. How the fuzzy bollocks can he command any sort of respect?

You just wouldn’t do those things, would you? I mean you, personally. If you were PM.

You are better than him. We are better than him. Than them.

And that’s dangerous. Who the hell will willingly listen to a government they have no respect for, unless out of fear?

  6. Does anyone else feel like he uses civil servant jobs as currency? Partygate – well that’s one senior civil servant, I could maybe go two, Cost of Living? 9000 civil servants that should keep people warm.

Our country is so broke we can longer throw money at problems we have to throw civil servants.

  7. Boris is a fascist. That’s’ what fascists do. He will keep doing it any time his position is threatened. He will maintain his grip on power at any cost. We will not be rid of him unless he is forcibly removed.

  8. Tosspot has built a career throwing others under rhe bus. Go read up. Oh and he also always ends up sacked. Only a matter of time!

  9. I think every parliamentary member who was at those parties should be fined the amount that they agreed for the general public at the time. And it should be times the amount of the parties they attended. It’s bloody despicable what they are getting away with.

They were partying/gathering when families couldn’t see sick relatives, people were loosing jobs and having mental health crises because of the lockdown. I’m no royalist but even the Queen followed all the rules when her husband died.

Down with the lot of them I say. The whole thing is a corrupt embarrassment to democracy.

  10. I guess we can take small solace in the fact that TFL are never going to cut bus services while Boris still needs to throw people under them.
