Aerial objects from Belarus again detected in Poland

Previously, drones carrying Belarusian cigarettes were detected

“On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at night, the entry of objects approaching from Belarus into Polish airspace was detected. The flight of all objects was continuously monitored by military radar systems of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland,” — reported the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces.

For security reasons, temporary restrictions were introduced on the use of part of the airspace over Podlaskie Voivodeship for civilian air traffic; however, no threat to the security of the airspace of the Republic of Poland was detected.
