From the man who said he could live on £53 a week and forced disabled people to work.
Whose department was holding celebration parties about introducing new tougher sanctions on people getting benefits.
Don’t give him a second of your time and this faux sympathy he has for people now.
Yes, yes. Starve the dogs to a level of delirium that they will love you for giving them the scraps from your table.
Love how he describes index linked benefits as being a “shield” against the cost of living crisis. A long delayed increase to benefits so that they just start to keep up with inflation isn’t so much giving people a shield, it’s more akin to suggesting that we temporarily refrain from kicking people whilst theyre down.
Is he going to introduce a bill and let parliament vote on it?
We’ll see more of this. As Labour tries to win by becoming invisible and policy-free, the right and far right will make noise about upping living standards and challenging poverty
Iain Auschwitz SSmith helped kill thousands of vulnerable British citizens. The only reason we’re not constantly hearing about the Humanitarian Crisis Universal Credits caused is because Tories forced groups to sign gagging orders to get funding.
IDS helped torture old, disabled, single mothers, working people. He caused suicides and for people to starve or freeze to death alone and scared.
So if he’s saying it needs to be done then you know this is the absolute bare minimum that should be done.
What a wierd time line…
Well, sure but where’s the money gonna come from? The Royal Mint has already printed an insane amount of notes over the past decade, contributing to the current inflation rush. Are they just gonna be printing more now so an even worse inflation rate can be expected over the next couple of years? I’m not an economist but even I can tell that this is an incredibly dangerous situation. A btw, how can this be a Tory policy? It goes against everything their economic thinking and planning have been based on since the 50s.
Typical Tory, proclaiming a huge concession which in fact would still be vastly insufficient.
Things must be bad for thT uncaring, evil, fascist to make a statement like that
What about public sector wages as well? Or are the working poor not good enough for the opinion polls
So, the government think they can find increases for benefits but not public service workers?🤔
IDS? IBS more like…amirite.
sort of telling. he’d be one of the first strung up in public unrest against westminsters eugenics, so trying to appease that threat of violence would be what would check his behaviour.
I’m calling for Iain Duncan Smith to be fired into the fucking sun. Sadly, that won’t happen either.
So benefits claimants would get a 10% increase while nurses get 1% pay rise?
I think not.

Don’t listen to their lies, watch how they vote to see their true beliefs: https://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/10180/iain_duncan_smith/chingford_and_woodford_green/votes

Triple lock for public sector salaries first.
