I heard that Finland was also included in the Baltic states in the past. and The place where I live is also called ‘Northeast Asia’ from outside, but it is completely different countries.
Same way I feel about Scandinavia or the Balkans. I don’t really see a problem with it
I’ve never heard anyone having problems with it. We call them “baltic countries/states” in Latvian too.
I see no problem with it. It’s sounds pretty cool though
I like it, makes me feel like I am a part of something bigger not just a small Latvia which no one knows.
Id rather be Nordic
I kind of like it. I consider it an honor. Not all countries are grouped 3-5 and given a specific name. (Scandinavia, Benelukss/
based baltic confederacy
form of government: constitutional monarchy
head of state: Grand Duke Levitus I
This is cool. Cuz that means that whole Baltic sea is ours 🐢
Do not see any problem with it! 🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪
I wandered in r/austria after we won them in ice hockey to laugh about them and discovered that they call us the hamburger of 3 countries that are in northern Europe, but are not considered northern.
3 stripes, simple color pattern, goes by the Baltic sea, there you go. Funny fact for us balts means white.

OP baigi interesējas par LV lietām un laikapstākļiem, hehe
if the Baltic countries unite, then they need to be named “United Baltic Confederation”
Genius idea, you should patent it before someone else does!
Actually, it might be correct to summarize these countries under that meaning. It’s, also, more accurate.
I already do.
The problem is you cannot name a native of the Baltics with a word which doesn’t sound outright stupid. He is a “Baltic, -ian; Baltian”. Like no, it sounds stupid, you can although refer to a native of Scandinavia, as a Scandinavian. Or a native of the Iberian peninsula, as an Iberian, and etc. (In Latvian you can refer to native of the Baltics, and it will sound somewhat sensible)
what are these weird ruski troll bait posts? luckily on most of them noone is biting, but still…
No problem from a Lithuanian.
I hope we as the Baltic States could grow stronger and keep on strengthening our relationships!
Idk if you know but there is a historical and geographical reason for this name. It’s not a new invention.
With 🇵🇱 together The Great Baltic Dutchy
We do already in the US
Always had a alternate history idea of Baltic states as a union with united military forces before ww2. Interesting how history would’ve turned out.
We are too small to blow hot air
Genuinely dont care
Mums kalendara ir baltu vienibas diena. Nuff said.
