Don’t eat them then, pretty sure all?(I’ll say most nature is a bastard like that, see: platypus)spiders are venomous though, It’s not a false widow in my kitchen, it’s not even that big, but it’s taken out a couple of wasps.
VENOMOUS. Not poisonous.
I didn’t know the UK had any poisonous spiders.
They’ve been invading our lives ever since we elected them in 2010.
Press releases by pest control companies about how “dangerous creatures are invading the UK” are puff pieces designed to scare up business. The answer to the question “is this spider dangerous?” in the UK is “no”. At worse it’s as dangerous as a wasp – but 99.999% of spiders in the UK are completely harmless.
This is fantastic. I need to be bitten. Where can I find one
I will be a part of the Spidermen uprising in the UK, and replace Bojo and the Royal Family with the Sovereign SpiderKing.
England will become SpiderLand.
Venomous, not poisonous.
A rare one! Borisius johnsonsis. Poisonous like hell
Fine if you don’t eat it then. Unless it means venomous?
They’re harmless. I was a bit alarmed when I found one living above my bedroom door but I got used to it. I also had one outside which I was feeding. They don’t really bite, they use their long legs and incredibly strong web as the primary weapon. They are totally badass but not dangerous.
Send em to rwanda! We don’t want no 3rd world terrorist spiders muscling our proud british spiders out!
Good, I hate flies.
With any hope they’ll invade the houses of our current government en masse.
Although seeing as Priti Patel was borne of the darkest bowel of hell, it would probably only serve to empower her further.
