Well, the truth is that it’s our national conspiracy against the Anglo-sphere. We’re purposefully adding random letters to otherwise easy to pronounce surnames and then watch in delight how the vile xenos get confused, infuriated and ashamed all at once.
For example, my surname is originally RA, but during the rite of passage I rolled 10d8 and got RAmpampariasuwiczewski. Heh, heh, heh.
that’s absolutely true
Oh well, that’s r/technicallythetruth
Weird? Americans have names like Hunter, Archer or Crystal.
Why does it make me laugh
Who would’ve thought 🤔
If you want a weird Polish name, try Świętopełk. It hasn’t really been used for like a thousand years, so it’s weird to Poles, and it has many Polish sounds, so it’s weird to foreigners.
