Do we agree?

  1. I’m confused, are we talking here about the local government? Or provincial? Or regional? Or federal? Or European?

  2. Indians trust their government more than we do?? Well, at least we know we’re not getting MASSIVELY propagandized, I guess? Not as much as other countries, I guess?

  3. The data probably doesn’t include Portugal, but my initial reaction was “we’re so far off to the bottom left that we couldn’t make it to the chart”.

  4. In a country that pays the most taxes, and makes a lot of fuckups. I think we still trust those idiots in the Wetstraat way too much

  5. I don’t think this is correct. It seems like a very exaggerated result. It would imply we trust the state even less than Russians. Which I refuse to acknowledge.

  6. I don’t know anyone who actually thinks voting matters, we all vote, it stays the same, the speeches stay the same.

    It’s always the same.

  7. Am I the only one annoyed that there is no x-axis and y-axis title and unit?

My bachelor students make even better graphs than this one

  8. To be honest, I don’t think the government comes of as capable often, but I don’t think they are embezzling a lot. Maybe that is being -40 on the trust scales too.

But even high trust countries such as Germany and Netherlands have a low score I see.

  9. Hmm this doesnt say a lot actually. North Koreans might trust their government 100% but that doesnt mean the trust is justified

  10. lol.. the Netherlands.. I guess this survey is from before the toelagendrama..

yet the Dutch still somewhat voted in the exact same government.. proving how either flawed democracy can be, or how incredibly stupid the Dutch are.. (or at least have lost any right to mock our Belgian system ever again)..
