India bowled out New Zealand for 225 in 19.4 overs while chasing 272 runs, with Axar Patel taking three wickets and Arshdeep Singh taking a fifer. It was a major turning point when Arshdeep Singh removed Mitchell Santner (0) and Rachin Ravindra (30) in the 12th over. Building on his BBL performance, Finn Allen provided New Zealand a good start. With eight fours and six sixes, he smashed 80 off 38 balls. Axar removed Glenn Phillips (7) and Allen as well. Opener Tim Seifert was dismissed for five off three balls in the opening over by Arshdeep Singh. However, Allen’s quick-fire fifty kept the Kiwis in the game for a while.
