As Ukrinform reports, this is reported by ERR
On Friday, January 30, a meeting of border representatives of Estonia and Russia took place, at which the Russian side refused to acknowledge the illegal crossing of the Estonian border at the Vasknarva pier on the Narva River in December last year.
The meeting took place in the Pskov region of the Russian Federation. The parties discussed the illegal crossing at the Vasknarva pier on the Narva River on December 17 of last year, when three Russian border guards entered Estonian territory.
“Russia continues to deny the illegal crossing of the border that was recorded by Estonia. Such behavior is part of a trend observed in Russia in recent years, when seeking a substantive solution is not welcomed. Meetings at the level of border representatives of the Police Department and Border Guard on this issue will not continue. I stressed the need to refrain from further illegal crossings,” said Andris Viltsin, a representative of the Estonian Border Guard Service.
