GRADY COUNTY –

Authorities will hold a meeting Monday morning where landowners who were evacuated due to the oil & gas well blowout can possibly seek reimbursements.

The meeting, hosted by Staghorn Petroleum, will be held Monday, Feb. 2, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Winter Creek Golf Course clubhouse where people affected by the blow out can attend and get information on how to be compensated for costs associated with evacuation orders.

A mandatory evacuation has been issued in Grady County after a blowout out of a natural gas well site.

Staghorn Petroleum is asking people affected who plan on attending the meeting to bring receipts of out-of-pocket expenses.
