Denmark’s King Frederik and Queen Mary will soon be travelling to Australia for a six-day visit for the first time since the King ascended the Danish throne.

The royals will visit the Northern Territory, the ACT, Victoria and Tasmania for a series of business and cultural engagements from the 14th to the 19th of March.

The Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese said that it was an honour to welcome the paid back to Australia.

“Denmark and Australia are great friends, and together we are working to build a more sustainable, secure and peaceful future.”

“Their Majesties The King and Queen of Denmark have a very special connection with Australia, and I know Australians will welcome them.”
