My father LOVED them, still uses the Podge and Rodge talking bottle opener I got him in 2007.

They use to scare the shite out of me when I was little but a scare at bedtime is actually really good, can’t say the same about the two talk shows that came after though.
Does anyone remember one of their scares at bedtime where there a monster living in some young one’s bath drain and it broke out and maybe killed her?

Found a Gameboy with a load of games like Mario, Donkey Kong, Sonic etc. The cartridges they were.
And a load of Marvel/DC comics and graphic novels recently while clearing out. Love finding old finds like this.

I have a tea cup with these lads on it at my family home. It’s them lined up as if they are getting their “mug” shot with the height thing in the background. Fair play to the quality on it too, no fade or chips or anything

I didn’t appreciate it at the time but it was actually great television.
I still have a few VHS tapes floating around. They sit on the shelf gathering dust as part of ‘The Collection’ alongside the DvDs and the like.
For what they where they seemed amazing – almost transformative. You could set the timer on the tape machine at Christmas and go for a pint and then come home and you’d have Back to the Future fresh from the telly with a time-capsule of advertisements for the price of a blank-tape and fast-forwarding every 20 minutes or so.
