A raccoon from the United States is now a world traveler.

Customs officials in Belarus got a surprise when inspecting a car shipped to the country from the US: a stowaway raccoon.

Customs agents found the raccoon napping on the dashboard and took it to the Oshmyany District Veterinary Station.

The Customs agency said in an update “He is friendly and well-mannered. New additions to his food preferences… crab sticks and fresh grapes…have joined the chicken eggs he loved from day one.”

The critter, named Senya, will be in quarantine until tomorrow and then will either have a new home at the Grodno Zoo or the Naliboki Forest.
