Poor article. Doesn’t seem to specify why this wouldn’t cut costs. Right at the end it suggested that some places would just absorb the extra money which seems fair enough but doesn’t explain why they wouldn’t want that.
Child care staff have been complaining for years about wages being too low. Other than charging parents more I dont see a better solution to increase pay than changing the adult to child ratios.
