Addendum : There have of course been variations in the positioning of the colours but their hues have never changed except in 1976 to harmonise with the EU flag.
The return to the original colours was initiated by the French armies in 2020 and then also made by the French government but as I am not an expert in vexillology I don’t know what it could mean

The darker blue and more vibrant red look better.
I believe France briefly adopted an [almost entirely white flag](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_France#/media/File:Royal_flag_of_France_during_the_Bourbon_Restoration.svg) during the Bourbon Restorations of 1814-1815 and 1815-1830.

The middle one looks like a cheap knock off version.
I prefer the older/new flag.
