It’s an atrocious show, BBC question Time is the kind of show we should have but RTÉ literally don’t know their elbow from their bollocks
Not sorry to see the end of it, it got so gimmicky and silly.
I have never seen a single episode. I thought it was a radio show for some reason
I wonder which fresh new talent RTÉ will plump for here. Mariam O’Callahan maybe?
She’s like a female Alan Partridge on that show, the use of props to explain everything is all over the place too!
Will take a while to clear out all her props.

Finally some good news
Without the announcement of a replacement show this is a big blow for current affairs.
We need more opportunities to question our politicians and see their answers, not less.
Very tabloidy type show. Never lived up to its promise.
Amazed it lasted seven years.
I’m an oddity on this sub in that I think RTÉ is a net positive, but this was a generally poor and gimmicky show.
I lost a good bit of respect for her when she aggressively defended the DUP when Joe Brolly called them “bigots”. I think she might have even prevented Brolly from continuing altogether on that occasion.
Dammit I was looking forward to the next expose on an opposition party with Hobbs and Co.
She is, to be fair, an absolute ride.
It was a silly show, surreal at times, but she is a good presenter and interviewer.
My favourite was always the Claire Byrne poll- whatever the question was, 14% would always answer “Don’t know” without fail

Current Affairs presenters come and go but no one could ever cut the jib quite like how Vincent Browne did it! I miss that man so much.
It’s like losing a bunion.

She did her best to frighten and divide during covid. Good luck and good riddance.
Great news, let’s get her off the radio next.
I know everyone here is chuffed about this and I wasn’t a fan of her too much but I hope there is a replacement because we do actually need to have current affairs shows on our national broadcaster. Need to be able to hold our politicians accountable in one way or another
I can’t believe SF would do this
But how will I know what to be afraid of if I don’t have any more dumb polls to tell me?
