These height maps are fascinating.
The tallest part of the USA is Puerto Rico, lol.
As a 198cm tall Serb, i can confirm this.

This sort of proves the theory that most south slavic are genetically still the same who lived in the Balkans prior to arrival of Slavs. The numerically smaller, but much more culturaly stronger Slavic immigrants simply assimilated the local Illyrians and didn’t exterminate them, as was previously tought.

Why is there such a steep difference between Montenegro and Albania?
It was pretty strange visiting Banja Luka, I really didn’t expect so many younger people to be tall. But it wasn’t really that noticeable because plenty of the older generation was of “normal” height
The Albanian map is simply inaccurate. That’s all I gotta say, I aint bothering explaining
