And that was more than 5 months ago and in the meantime the EU has set far more vaccinations especially in the past few weeks now that Covid cases are getting worse in Eastern and Central Europe.
EU member states even have strict lockdowns and restrictions and push people to get vaccinated meanwhile the US has barely any of these in place and even politicise getting the vaccine and wearing masks.
I don’t know why the media is acting as though this is affecting all of Europe for no apparent reason as opposed to certain countries in Europe with an especially low vaccination rate.
I still won get vaccinated, it makes no sense to do so in my case (I already had corona), the restrictions only apply for those who are unvaccinated and it is known the vaccinated and those who recovered from corona can again get infected and spread the virus.
So there is a huge pool of people in which the virus can freely circulate and mutate because governments do not actually trust the science they only care about forcing the rest of us to take the vaccine.
The people that claim to be concerned about their health are not doing all they can to protect themselves, surgical mask offer weak protection and concerned individuals should use masks with filters to be honest.
Honestly I am not concerned about the virus which has 2% lethality in case you get it, of course that is a rough estimate and it goes even lower for my age group.
I am more concerned about the ease at which people act like sheep and don’t question things.

Why are the Covid cases in the US Lower compared to the EU?
I know some EU member states haven’t done great when it comes to vaccinations but many have done much better than most US states.
