U.S. President Donald Trump has spoken out on the disappearance of “Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy, telling reporters that he would commit more federal resources to finding the 84-year-old if needed.

During a bill signing on Tuesday night, Trump was asked by a reporter for his thoughts on the situation and if he would send more federal agents to look for Nancy Guthrie, who was reported missing on Saturday night in Arizona. The disappearance is now being looked at as a possible abduction, with the FBI assisting the Pima County Sheriff’s Office on the case.

“Sure, I would,” Trump said about providing more federal resources to find Nancy, adding that he plans to call Savannah Guthrie. “I’m going to call her later on,” he said. “I think it’s a terrible thing. I always got along very good with Savannah.”
