    My landlord increased the rent by £100 just in time for the April price rises.

    “I need x, can you afford y?”

  2. Aren’t loads of landlords selling up because of upcoming changes to epc requirements and also due to section 21 changes coming up ?. A lot are selling up and getting out

  3. You guys have it easy. My landlord in the US just raised my rent by $1000. No law to stop him.

    I’ll take $100 increase, which sounds reasonable.

  4. I don’t really understand how this is connected. Isn’t a no fault eviction essentially just the landlord choosing to take back possession of their house. No unpaid rents, no legal issues. Why is the cost of living crisis the supposed cause of this?
