Not being able to play some microtransaction-loaded mobile cash grab game, seems like a great thing.
Als ze het niet releasen puur voor de lootboxes zal het wel zeer P2W gedreven zijn. Good riddance.
Blizzard sucks ass nowadays, so whatever.
And nothing of value was lost.
I was wondering why I couldn’t find it in the appstore.
Let’s hope more countries follow and these things actually change in the future.
They could easily take out the lootboxes like any other game does these days, they will not be missed.
Uhm, I never cared about the game anyway so good riddance?
Makes me proud to be Belgian.
Microtransactions riddled garbage mobile game being illegal sure feels great.
Good.

(I know this is going to bite me in the a, but at least the ones up till now were sensible)
correction: Diablo Immortal reportedly won’t be released in Belgium or the Netherlands because of ~~its loot boxes~~ their refusal to not have -18 year olds able to buy their lootboxes
I think it’s shit I dont have the chance to choose myself if I want this or not. Publishers wont change if it’s only Netherlands and Belgium. Same was with Lost ark. If whole europe would have a law like this, that would actually make a difference…
I bet it’ll be super easy to work around like all the other similar attempts at blocking content in the past.
Meanwhile there are other mobile games on the market that earn billions in microtransactions and people pay 80 euro’s for a single sword in game through a gacha system that does nothing
If your business model is so reliant on loot boxes that you won’t release it in countries where it’s banned, it’s likely to be a pay to win piece of shit
Fine. I wouldnt like paying for a p2w experience anyway.
Meh. Plenty of other roguelikes available.
Whatever, i just wanted to play for the story. I’ll google a summary i guess.
Good
oh no, anyway
At least we have phones
Thank god
We really do not need a subpar Mobile to PC port cash grab game…
Good
Good riddance.
Like, this makes me happy. My mood has improved upon hearing this news.
What a bullshit. Let ppl decide for themselves if they want to pay or not djeez. I am tired of other deciding for me.
Edit: And it is not because it is this game but so many games get banned lately. I don’t like that. I am old enough to decide if I want it or not.
If you believe the internet and reddit, there is not that much to be proud of in Belgium. But I am proud of this.
Als dat de reden is, terecht.
Good
> Blizzard
Honestly who cares anymore? Company’s a dumpster fire and their (newer) games hot garbage.
