The issue here is that vaccinations for small pox have all but ceased in Africa and hardly any happen in the west now. So people over 40 likely had it but require a booster for waning protection and younger people never had it.
The vaccine kept at bay variants like monkeypox.
When will we learn that vaccinations need to be maintained and the global population needs to be protected in order to really ensure safety for all.
1 in 10 children are dying from it based on stats.
From 2, to 4, to 6, to 8, to 20, real number is likely double that now.

Everyone I know in the UK with kids is currently battling chickenpox (my toddler included). Here I am trying not to put on a tinfoil hat and think that it’s actually the monkey pox taking over already…
They’re saying most people infected are men who have sex with men, so even if you’re on prep now is REALLY time to engage in safe sex practices lads.
So we are literally going to be doing the Planet of the Apes thing this year? Cool.
Seriously though, please can this NOT be another pandemic type scenario. Id like a full year off that sort of thing.
