Spain – FTEJerez, a Jerez-based integrated flight training organisation specialising in airline-focused ab initio and MPL programmes, has confirmed the successful completion of training by the first group of Kuwait Airways cadet pilots under the airline’s MPL pipeline.
The cadets completed their Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) training at FTEJerez’s Jerez de la Frontera campus.
Type Rating training was conducted in Madrid, before the cadets progressed to base training in Kuwait.
The programme marks the first completed cohort under the Kuwait Airways–FTEJerez MPL collaboration.
A total of 25 Kuwait Airways cadets are currently in training at FTEJerez.
A further 18 cadets are scheduled to join the program in Spring
