The Iceland store in St Cuthbert’s Walk Shopping Centre, Chester-le-Street, will be closed for four days as refurbishment works are carried out.
Signs appeared in the supermarket earlier this week informing customers of the closure from March 7 at 4pm, until Thursday, March 12.
A spokesperson said: “We can confirm the Iceland Foods store in St Cuthbert’s Walk Shopping Centre in Chester-le-Street will be closing temporarily on Saturday, March 7 at 4pm for a refurbishment.
“The store will reopen on Thursday, March 12 at 8am with a fresh look and we look forward to continuing to serve our customers in the local area.”
Iceland’s Darlington store will also be closing for a major refurb this month.
