If you’re a conservative politician of course you’ll be in favour of limiting the power and reach of the BBC, because they have an obligation to broadcast and investigate, for the public’s benefit, not their paymasters.
The BBC, in my opinion, is probably the best thing about Britain.
Why kill CBBC though? Does Boris have shares in Netflix or Nickelodeon?

BBC4 will be a loss, their Friday night music night and Storyville documentary strand are excellent, and then the odd bit of randomness you come across on it (fuck I got old there)
