  1. As a italian this make me very happy. I love to pass my holidays in croatia and now it will be even easier

  2. A few weeks ago an Italian historian had a lecture in my department at Warsaw University. He said that the euro has only brought poverty to Italy. Seeing how Estonia has the highest inflation in the EU (and they can’t control their currency in any way) I have big doubts about the euro.

  3. Either officially or unofficially, Yugoslavia is slowly re-entering a currency union. 4 out of 7 successor states will use the Euro as of 1.01.2023, and a 5th will have a pegged currency.

  4. That’s great, a lot of Slovaks spend summer holidays in Croatia, so not needing to change money will be convenient.

  5. Are they entering Schengen, or just adopting Euro?

Anyway, congratulation to Croatians! One of the purest countries in Europe!
