MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A fire late Monday night engulfed a business in northeast Memphis.

FOX13 arrived around 10 p.m. Monday to a fire near Jackson Avenue and Chelsea Avenue. Our crews spotted massive flames coming up from a building in the area.

FOX13 reached out to the Memphis Fire Department (MFD) for further details — including what caused the fire and if anyone was hurt — but did not immediately hear back.

As of 5 a.m. Tuesday, it was still an active scene with several MFD firefighters and vehicles surrounding the area.
