  1. The work the EU is doing on climate change is quite uplifting. We are the leading region of the world , and should stick with it.

  2. Not sure if it’s COVID or if the world is really reducing emissions. One personal observation i have from across the pond, in New England, is having an extremely aggressive spring. The pollen levels seem crazy high and all the vegetation is super vibrant. I have never seen a more beautiful spring before. I am not sure if this is accidental or it’s just me, but i feel like it’s the lower emissions.

  3. The faster the better! After we adjust ourselves, our policy must be one of investment in renewables in other areas of the world!

  4. Because of Covid and not the fat fuck Timmerfrans on the left. Boo.

We’re all fucking flying again. Leading story here is that our main airport’s overcrowded and the queues are too long for all those poor travellers. Nothing’s changed.

  5. Some important quotes “While almost all EU countries managed to reduce their emissions, the drop was mainly due to the UK and Germany, which accounted for 47% of the total net reductions over the past 30 years, the EEA remarked.

With the UK leaving the EU in 2020 and emissions rising again after the coronavirus pandemic, the figures may not look so rosy in future reports”

Interesting that Germany was identified as a success story, they are frequently accused of being the worst offenders because of their nuclear plant decommissions.

Glad to hear the UK did well too, but sounds like it might be tough for the EU to hit their targets without us
