  1. Of course there will health problem with drinking the oil! It’s fucking oil! Pure cholesterol! Don’t drink the oil! Not to mention that it’s fu***** disgusting!

  2. No problems with oil as such. Italians eat bred with olive oil, why not eat sprat flavored oil soaking bread in it. Drinking it… well i wouldnt because its dicusting, but i dont see any health dangers. When i was little i had to drink spoon of fish oil every day for health benefits, but oil in smoked sprats is just regular sunflower oil.

  3. No, no problems.

Also no worries what people say here about cholesterol ([our bodies make all cholesterol, and only a small portion can be absorbed from foods](https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/dietary-cholesterol-does-not-matter)).
It’s said actually that a sprats in oil are even healthier (more Omega3 fatty acids) than other fish like salmon or tuna.

PUFAs especially the seed/vegetable oils are more prone to oxidation so they can increase inflammation and can have anti-Thyroid/metabolism effects

I never felt like the seed/vegetable oils like rapeseed, sunflower, etc. are needed in any way in one’s diet, my household rarely ever used them and we always cooked everything in butter or olive oil and I have had 0 issues whatsoever, and have always been lean and never overweight.

Try drinking pure seed/vegetable oil without any additions and not as part of any other processed food, unless you are a psycho or have altered taste perception you’d likely feel like spitting it out in an instant yet when you eat butter or something like that it feels normal and usually doesn’t cause as much disgust (at least for me, maybe others are different here idk)
