MALTA, N.Y. (WRGB) — A man is accused of threatening someone with a weapon. Police responded to Cocca’s Motel in Malta after a 911 hang up call around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies say Richard Hileman Jr., 42, restrained a victim and displayed a knife. He’s charged with criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful imprisonment, and menacing.
Investigators say he’s also accused of having a dangerous instrument after being previously convicted of a crime.
Hileman was sent to the Saratoga County Jail.
