  1. Tory ~~bag man~~ co-chair Elliot, previously accused of [cash for Royal access](https://www.opendemocracy.net/en/opendemocracyuk/top-tory-donors-are-bankrolling-prince-charles-charity/) including selling dinners with his uncle Prince Charles for [“tens of thousands of pounds”](https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/ben-elliot-prince-charles-meetings-b1894488.html), is a trustee on the board of the Victoria and Albert museum.

The museum is to host a Tory fundraiser, tickets at £1500 a head, or £2000 if you want to get within bribing distance of a “senior” Tory, including an auction.

    > Labour is now calling for an investigation to determine whether Elliot is abusing his role at the museum.

Elliot, whose day job is [providing luxury experiences](https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/ex-client-tory-chairmans-luxury-25029849) for mafia figures, [oligarchs](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/mar/04/starmer-calls-on-tories-to-sack-co-chair-ben-elliot), covid test [queue jumpers](https://labour.org.uk/press/labour-challenges-conservatives-who-knew-co-chairs-company-was-marketing-private-covid-tests-in-the-middle-of-national-testing-crisis/) and other ne’er-do-wells, has seemingly never found himself in a role he couldn’t abuse.

The article features a photograph of Tory leader Don Borleone on Elliot’s knee posing as a ventriloquist’s dummy.
