Alexandre Texier is the only current NHL player on the roster. Texier is the first NHL player ever to represent France at the Olympics. Forty-year-old Pierre-Edouard Bellemare has played in 700 NHL games as of 2024. Yohann Auvitu and Stephane Da Costa are the only other players on France’s roster with NHL experience.

David Pastrnak leads Team Czechia into the Olympics as the most identifiable NHL player. Martin Necas is also a player to watch. Bruins forward Pavel Zacha will not play and was replaced by Filip Chlapik.
